Commissions

Kingston University

In July 2020 I was commissioned by Kingston University to create a feature for their newly established "Multum" magazine. The publication has been collectively created as a plausible solution to the restrictions enforced by COVID-19. Contemporary and innovative the digital and print magazine serves the purpose of showcasing all work created by MA Fashion students studying at the university and includes a broad range of supporting material.

My briefing for the feature was to create an informative and stimulating article that discusses topics surrounding the future state of fashion. When initiating my research I decided to create three subsections which in turn acted as headings within my feature, these are as following: Fashion Communications, Fashion Retail and Fashion & Sustainability. I felt these were three core areas in which best suited the target demographic of the publication - students preparing for a future in industry.

Within these three areas I discussed ways in which the industry was set to shift pre-pandemic and how COVID-19 has accelerated these trends. Preparing students and industry insiders for what is set to happen over the coming years, whilst outlining key trends that are set to gain momentum in the imminent future.
